天津嵘元智能科技有限公司 is described by the Nankai District government as the vehicle for Prof. Duan Feng’s team at Nankai University, set up in April 2023 in the Tiankai park. The district says it works on an endovascular BCI, domestic neurovascular devices for acute stroke, and a rehabilitation robot. The district reports a first-in-human endovascular BCI trial in a 67-year-old man with left-side paralysis after stroke (August 2025, government news page; the company’s own claims are not separately sourced).
